Owens, Kenneth Edward

Kenneth Edward Owens, of Blacksburg, Va., died Sunday, November 27, 2011, at his home. He was born in Christiansburg, Va., on June 20, 1949, to the late Nina Katherine Owens.

He is survived by his brother, George Wilson Owens, of Blacksburg, Va.; a special cousin, Betty Tolley, of Blacksburg; a special friend, Phyllis Olinger and son, Mike; and a friend, Ricky Comer and family.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Miller and the Rev. Charlie Evans officiating. Interment will follow in the Owens Family Cemetery, Ellett, Va. Friends may call anytime after noon on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg
