Floyd Lee Owens, 38, of Elliston, passed away January 2, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Mary Owens and his aunt, Phyllis Owens. He is survived by his parents, Roger and Barbara Owens; brother, Eddie Quesenberry; uncles, Harold Owens, Harless Owens; aunts, Joyce Phillips and Nancy Graves; cousins, Missy Mannon, Diane Dalton and Shirley Gail Owens; aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. John Cheatam, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Rose Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morris, and Mrs. Annabell Chewing.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald King officiating. Interment will follow in Hall’s Cemetery.
