Bonnie Belle Outten, 87 of Willis, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2023, surrounded by loved ones and her beloved cats. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elsie B. Marshall; father, Elijah Graham Marshall; and her husbands, William A. Outten and Paul S. Hill.

She is survived by her step-children, Daniel L. Bonnie would often say that she had lived three lives – each of which she filled with love, laughter, travel, and cats. She had a zest for life, made friends wherever she went, and always took time to stay in touch with her friends and family. She touched many lives and brought joy to those around her through her warmth, wit, and generosity.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Mitchell Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Nathan Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Cox Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Many thanks to those special people who visited, called, prayed, stayed, and loved her through her final weeks. Chief among those are Debbie, Donna, Polly, Pastor Nathan and Esther. Thanks also to her church family and hospice nurses. Bonnie was a shining example of how to live and die with dignity and grace. She loved her Lord, trusted His amazing grace, and was looking forward to an eternity of love and light in His presence.
