Ostrander, John W.

John W. Ostrander, 66, of Narrows, Va., passed away Monday, April 2, 2007 at Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital, Pearisburg, Va.

Born October 2, 1940 at Norh Adams, Mass., he was the son of the late Earl Wilson and Vern Lapan Ostrander. Mr. Ostrander was a retired radio D.J. and computer programmer.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Ostrander; one son, Patrick Ostrander and wife Bekki of Bristol, Tenn.; one daughter, Vicki Jansen and husband Al of Ocean City, Md.; two sisters, Kathy Zoito of Pittsfield, Mass. and Nancy Bird of Cheshire, Mass.; one grandchild, Zachery Ostrander.
