O’Neill, Gloria Edith

Gloria Edith O’Neill, 89, of Moneta, passed away on July 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward O’Neill; and her parents, Edward and Martha O’Toole Swager.

She is survived by her son, Bruce Manns; nephew and caregiver, Dwayne Thornton and wife Angela; nephews, Jeff Akers and wife Angie, Gregg Lester and wife Robin, and David Braun; nieces, Martha Akers and husband Carlos, Margaret LaForest, and Katina Zelenak; very special brother-in-law, Kenneth Coffman; as well as many special friends and neighbors.

“Aunt Gloria” as we called her, was a very loving and caring person to all she met. She made life a little brighter and a little happier for everyone. She will be sadly missed by everyone.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, with Pastor T. Michael Bond officiating.
