Olinger, Helen Gallagher

Helen Gallagher Olinger, 71, of Christiansburg, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Johnston-Willis Hospital. She was born in Blacksburg, Va. , on March 31, 1940, to the late Eugene Christopher and Helen B. Carper Gallagher.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan Olinger Beach, of Powhatan, son, Mike Olinger, of Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandsons, Cody Beach and Dillon Beach; brother, Jack Gallagher, of Newport; and half brother, Rickie Buck, of Pulaski.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2011, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. T.J. Cox and the Rev. Jim Linkous officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday evening, June 18, 2011, at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. Blacksburg, Va.
