Olinger, Arnold Dewitt

Arnold Dewitt (Jake) Olinger, 87, of Prices Fork, died, Saturday, April 20, 2013. He was born in Montgomery County, on July 2, 1925 to the late Gratton Dewitt and Willie Sweeney Olinger.

He is survived by his stepmother, Irene Ashley, of Price’s Fork; one sister, Audry Britian, of Indiana; three brothers, Robert McClelland, of Ohio, Harold Dean Pollitt, of Ohio, and Paul W. Pollitt, of Ohio; a special friend, Annie Pearl Saunders; and many cousins and lifelong friends.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11 a.m., in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in the Zack Price/James R. Long Memorial Cemetery, Price’s Fork.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association , 4335 Cox Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060.

The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 p.m. Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
