Lauda Stanley Ogle, 87, of Christiansburg, and formerly of Pulaski, died Tuesday May 14, 2013, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Pulaski. She was born on February 18, 1926, in Laura, Ky. and was the daughter of the late Tilda Jude Stanley and Corbett Stanley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lafayette Weston Ogle; brothers, Walker Stanley, Ira Stanley, Robert Sartin, and Floyd Stanley; and sisters, Myrtle Fields, Margie Miller, Bertha Stanley, and Gertie Stanley.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hall and her husband, Kenneth (Ken), of Christiansburg; brothers, Hayes Stanley and his wife, Causby, of Prichard, W.Va., the Rev. Wallace Sartin, of Pilgram, Ky., and Lloyd Sartin and his wife, Opal, of Morehead, Ky.; and a sister, Margaret Simpkins and her husband, David, of Sunbury, Ohio. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Wendy Hall Covington, of Christiansburg; and a great-grandson, Erik Weston Covington, of Christiansburg; along with many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Knotresha Stewart, Dr. Donald Yoder, and the nursing staff of Lewis Gale Hospital, for their kindness and support.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday May 17, 2013, at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Marcus Harrison officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home from noon until 2 p.m. with services to follow in the chapel.
