Joshua Daniel (Josh) Ogle, 18, of Christiansburg, departed from his earthly home on Thursday, July 27, 2006 to join his heavenly father as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He attended the Auburn Baptist Church and was employed by B’s Fabricating and Mechanical in Dublin as a certified welder.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Cletus and Lila Lester, he is survived by his parents, Mavin D. and Charlotte L. Ogle of Christiansburg; brother, Isaac Mavin Ogle, Christiansburg; grandparents, Daniel and Henrietta Ogle, Hillsville, Va.; aunts and uncles, Michael and Renee Lester, Floyd, Rose Turner, Riner, Marcus and Lynn Ogle, Woodlawn, Va., Matthew Ogle, Hillsville, Va., Veronica and Rodney Blevins, Clemons, N.C. and many special friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, Va. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2006, at the Auburn Baptist Church with the Rev. Shake Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Riner Fire Department, P.O. Box 11, Riner, Va. 24149 or the charity of one’s choice. The Ogle family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, Va. 382-2612.
