O’Farrell, Genevieve Mildred

Genevieve Mildred O’Farrell, 88, of Pearisburg, and formerly of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., passed away at home late on Tuesday afternoon, June 19, 2012. Born on August 14, 1923, in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lola Pearl Bradley LaFon. Mrs. O’Farrell was a resident of Pearisburg, for over 50 years and worked at the Celanese Plant located there as a line operator. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. Preceding her in death other than her parents was her husband, Frank B. O’Farrell on October 24, 1988. Survivors include one daughter, Robin Kay O’Farrell, of Pearisburg, Va.; two sons, Kim O’Farrell (Dora), of Pearisburg, Va., and Frank B. O’Farrell Jr. (Geri), of Grantsville, Utah; and one sister, Emma Feury, of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, June 23, 2012, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. Burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery in Second Creek, W.Va. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, June 22, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
