Odham, Marion Edward

Marion Edward Odham, age 83, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Manor of Natural Bridge. He was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on September 14, 1930 to the late Joseph and Mary Lexie Woolwine Odham.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Mae Vaught Odham; sisters, Helen Roberta Hamlin; brother, Howard Odham; and son-in-law, Carcel Bolling. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his daughters, Judy Ann Odham Craft and husband Robert, of Christiansburg, Mary Katherine Odham Fisher-Bolling, of Blacksburg, Shirley Marie Odham Altizer and husband Jay, of Christiansburg, Janie Hope Odham Lang and husband Dickie, of Christiansburg, Norma Jean Odham Musselman and husband Dale, of Christiansburg, Josephine (Penny) Ruby Odham Boley and husband Keith, of Floyd; son, Michael David Odham and wife Anessa Wood, of Shawsville; sisters, Wilma Price, Anna Lee Green, Fern Lucille Linkous and Audrey Sheets; brother Carl Odham; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 3 p.m. in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg with Pastor Thomas McCue officiating. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
