O’Dell, Sr., James Hawley

James Hawley O’Dell, Sr., age 86 formerly of Pulaski passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Alleghany Regional Hospital. Born July 9, 1927 in Pulaski County he was the son of the late Arthur Leachman O’Dell & Cynthia Alice Hawley O’Dell. His brothers; Herman, Hebron, Jack, Burnice, Curtis, Turis and Bobby O’Dell and sisters; Haskel O’Dell Horton, Phyllis Dalton and Mary Alice Dalton also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Carson Linkous officiating. Entombment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin where the V.F.W. Post #1184 will conduct military honors.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday evening at the Funeral Home.
