O’Dell, Jr. , Willie A. “Sonny”

Willie A. “Sonny” O’Dell, Jr. , age 66 of Hiwassee passed away Saturday, September 01, 2012 at his home. Born March 14, 1946 in Pulaski he was the son of the late Willie Albert O’Dell, Sr. & Bessie Finn O’Dell.

He was a veteran of the United States National Guard.

He is survived by his Wife- Freda O’Dell – Hiwassee. Step Children- Rebecca Isom – Wytheville, John Farmer & Robin Creasey – Bedford, Sarah Farmer – Pulaski. Grandchildren- Kaleena Sayers, Shana Farmer, Dakota Akers, Hagan Smith and Oceanna Cruise. Sisters & Brothers-in-law- Peggy & Jerry White – Pulaski, Betty & Lewis Surratt – Bristol, Janice Anderson – Dublin. Special Friends- Darrell & Jenny Quesenberry – Pulaski, Emily & Tom Rupe – Pulaski, Sharon and the late Johnny Gravley. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, Hiwassee. Interment will follow at the O’Dell-Moore Cemetery where the V.F.W. Post # 1184 will conduct military honors. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time at the church.
