Odell, Jessie Greer

Jessie Greer Odell (February 19, 1921 – November 30, 2013) He was born at Washington County, Virginia to the late Junie Gentry Greer and Andrew Jackson Greer.

Surviving, wife, Opal Mae Greer of the home; two daughters and spouses, Ann and Tracy Dolinger of Troutdale, Virginia and Carolyn and Dean Gentry of Laurel Bloomery, TN; four sons and spouses, Bill and Jean Greer of Damascus, VA, Ogene and Tracy Greer of Laurel Bloomery, TN, and Larry Greer and Gary Greer both of Damascus, VA; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Green Cove Baptist Church, Damascus, VA; Rev. David Lyalls and Rev. leonard Tenney will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 P.M. until time for the funeral service.

The burial will be held on Wednesday morning, December 4, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in Green Cove Cemetery.
