O'Brien, Noel Patrick

Noel Patrick O’Brien, 80, of Estero, Fla., and formerly of Radford, Va., passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011. He was born on December 25, 1930, in Waterford City, Ireland, to the late Michael and Ellen O’Brien. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Michael O’Brien; brother, Nicholas O’Brien; and sisters, Mary Margaret Kearsey and Nano O’Connor. Noel was a veteran during the Korean conflict, in the United States Army. He was employed by Inland Motors in Radford, Va., for 34 years. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Ireland. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #581 in Haverstraw, N.Y. He is survived by his wife, Joyce O’Brien; stepchildren, Patricia Dobbins, Thomas Dobbins, James Dobbins, and Kalli King and husband, James King; grandchildren, Jason Stump, and Katrina and Kallista King; sisters, Eileen Potash, Joan Freeman, and sister and brother-in-law, Breda and Robert Freeman; and several nieces and nephews.
