Overstreet, Christine Patsel
Christine Patsel Overstreet, 90, of Christiansburg, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday February 10, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Bessie Patsel; brothers James Minor and Geraldine Patsel, Lewis Patsel, Harding and Audrey Patsel; and sister, Essie and Smitty Smith; and brother-in-law, Tom Overstreet.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert G. Overstreet Jr.; children, Dawn Overstreet, Libby and Stephen Ferrari, Bobby and Angela Overstreet, Cindy Moser, Becky Bolte and Susan Overstreet; sisters, Tootie Newman, Lois Adkins, Jean Covington; and sister-in-law, Nola Patsel and sister-in-law Sandra Overstreet; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church in Roanoke, VA. She was also an avid canasta player and sang with the Joy Singers.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested to Christiansburg Rescue Squad.
There will be a graveside service Saturday February 13, 2016 at 2:30 at the Chapel in Evergreen Burial Park, Roanoke, VA.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I truly know how it feels. If there is anything I can do please let me know….. I will try my best to attend but things for me are not going very well right now. Susan if there is anything I can possibly do to help please let me know. I know I was totally devastated at the passing of my parents. I have been trying to find you just to talk for many years.
I am DEEPLY SORRY for your loss…..
