Nutter, Nelson Wade

Nelson Wade Nutter, 75, of Toms Creek, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Montgomery County on March 2, 1937, to the late John and Emma Linkous Nutter. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Otis Nutter and Buford Nutter, and a sister, Marie Eanes.

He is survived by his niece, Delores Bryson and husband, Bill, of Martinsville, nephews, Lewis Eanes, Martinsville, Timothy Eanes and wife, Angie, of Martinsville.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price and the Rev. Randy Jarrells officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Community Church, 3766 Glade Rd., Blacksburg, VA 24060. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Monday afternoon prior to the service, at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
