Nutter, Kenneth Robert

Kenneth Robert Nutter, age 77, of Blacksburg died, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at his home. He was born in Christiansburg, Va. on November 8, 1945, to the late Jesse and Cordie Shelor Nutter. He was also preceded in death by twin infant sons.

Kenneth was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Alice S. Nutter, daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Ronnie Turpin, Julie and Danny Hagy, Tonya Blackwell, grandchildren, Dalton, Faith, Caleb, Dylan, Alexis, Kaylee, Isabella, Jaxon, sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Darrel Semones, brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sue Nutter, aunt, Edith Hurt, mother-in-law, Mary Jane Surface, several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives; his furry companion, Sebastian.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, February 6, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Long Shop–McCoy Fire and Rescue P.O. Box 489, McCoy, Va. 24111. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
