Nunn, Alberta Turpin

Alberta Grace Turpin Nunn, 69, of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 in the Lewis Gale Hospital, Salem. Born in Montgomery County, Va. on March 2, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Jessie Ray and Ellen Newby Turpin. Also preceding her in death were brothers, Clarence Edward and Jerry Randolph Turpin.

Surviving are sons and daughters in law, David and Kim, Timothy, Eric and Suzanne Nunn; brothers, William “Buck”, Cecil and Roger Turpin; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; best friend, Scarlett Bain.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. The Family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
