Northrop, Betty Price

Betty Price Northrop, 78, of Woodstock, Va., formerly of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at her home. She was born in Blacksburg, Va. on May 4, 1931, to the late Carl Miller and Juanita McCauley Price. She was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Price Hylton; and her brother, Carl Milton Price. She is survived by her, nieces and nephews, Denise Krallman, Cincinnati, Ohio., Dianne Krallman, of Blacksburg, Daniel Hylton, of Ozark, Ala., Tim Price, of Pembroke, Carletta Ryan, of Christiansburg. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, May 18, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, with Pastor John Wertz officiating. There will be no visitation.
