Norris, Kenneth Gardner

Kenneth Gardner Norris, 92, of Snowville, died on Sunday, March 25, 2012, in the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Salem, Va. He was born in Salem, N.H., on November 15, 1919, and was the son of the late Frank and Eunice Baker Norris.

Mr. Norris was a retired employee of the Town of Salem, Va., and was a member of the Snowville Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the United State Air Force having served during World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Lena Mae White Norris, of Snowville, Va.; daughter, Marla Bergeron, of Gonzales, La.; brother, Floyd Norris, of Florida; grandchildren, Aaron and Samuel Bergeron, of Gonzales, La.; nieces and nephews; and other family members.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012, from the Snowville Baptist Church with the Rev. Neal Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visiting will be held on Saturday at the church where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va., 540-980-2600.
