Noonkester, Michael Gibson
We are sad to announce that on Saturday, January 28, 2023, Michael Gibson Noonkester, loving husband, brother, father of four, and grandfather of four & a half, passed away at the age of 51. Mike was preceded in death by his father, David Noonkester; mother, Sandra; older sister, Beth.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Joan; daughters, Sarah, Kelcie (Pat) Aders, Megan (Terrell) Thomas; son, William Noonkester and his girlfriend Breanna May; loving sister, Julie Bryant; cousin, Pat Cole; several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers you all have provided to Mike and their family. They have meant the world to them during this difficult time. They would especially like to express their gratitude to Intrepid Hospice and the home healthcare nurses who cared for Michael.
A celebration of Michaels life will take place on February 4, 2023 at 3:00 pm located at The Prices Fork Grange, 4248 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg, VA.

I would like to express my condolences to the family of Michael Noonkester I am a friend of the family who spoke with Michael on Fb and he said to me that he was doing well to be expected and I said to him that that’s all we can do is take one day at a time and keep our faith in God and pray for better days Michael will be missed so very much for his laughter and good humor he’s with God now peace be with him and his family and friends God bless you.
