Newby, Philip Wayne
Philip Wayne Newby, 63, of Radford, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020. He was employed with Roanoke Electric Steel and a U. S. M. C. veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Edward Newby; and sister, Linda Lovern.
Survivors include his son, Philip Newby, Jr.; daughter, Angela Newby; fiancé, Valerie Cronin; mother, Frances Viola Lester Newby; brother, Lewis Newby, Jr.; sister, Betty Newby; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I haven’t seen Phillip since back in the 80s I hope to be able to come to a service when you have one. God be with you all, especially to Mrs. Newby and Lewis.
