Nester, William Sherwood

William Sherwood Nester, age 78 of Dublin passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010 in the New River Valley Medical Center. Born September 13, 1932 in Dublin, he was the son of the late W. Roscoe Nester and Lura Mabry Nester. He was also preceded in death by a number of sisters and brothers. Surviving- Sons & spouses- Charles S. & wife, Dean Nester – Mississippi, David A. & wife, Janet Nester – Dublin, W. Arthur & wife,Suzan Nester – Dublin, Harold D. & wife,Loretta Nester – Pulaski , Daughters and spouses- Susan D. & husband, Blake Steffey – Dublin, Rosa E. & husband, Ralph Cressell – Parrott , 16 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, One Great, Great Grandchild, 4 Step Grandchildren, 8 Step Great Grandchildren. Brothers & spouses- Tommy and wife, Bernice Nester- GA, Roy Lee and wife, Goldie Nester-Dublin, Sisters- Elizabeth and husband, James Beckner -Dublin, Ethel Towle- Dublin, Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 11:00 A.M. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor David Hoover officiating. Interment will follow in the New Dublin Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will received friends Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour.
