Nester, Roy Lee

Roy Lee Nester, age 80 of Dublin passed away Sunday evening November 22, 2015 at the Pulaski Health & Rehab Center. Born February 12, 1935 in Pulaski County he was the son of the late Roscoe Nester & Lura Mabry Nester.

His first wife and daughter’s mother, Treva Ross Nester (1992); grandson, Blake Osborne and twelve brothers & sisters also preceded him in death.

He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry with over 33 years of service.

He is survived by his

Wife – Goldie Lester Nester – Dublin

Daughters – Yvonne (Alan) Osborne – Dublin Brenda D. (Kevin) Hurst – Dublin

Step Son – Billy J. Shouse – Pulaski

Granddaughter – Carri Beth Dalton – Dublin

Step-Grandchildren – John Allen Shouse Alaxendra Young

Three Step Great-Grandchildren

Sister – Ethel Carter Towle – Dublin

Numerous nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM – Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Rusty Spears officiating. Interment will follow at the New Dublin Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM – Tuesday evening at the Bower Funeral Home.
