NESTER, Mary Owens

Mary Owens Nester, 87, of Christiansburg, died Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in a Dublin Nursing Home. She was the widow of David D. Nester.

Surviving are three daughters, Donna Graves, Alene Ritter, Radford and Alice Stephens, Chesapeake; one son, Wade Southern, Christiansburg; along with six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Mountain View Cemetery, Pulaski County. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2006 at the Devilbiss Funeral Home, Radford. The Rev. Bob Smith will officiate at the service. DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford is handling arrangements.
