Nester, Kathy Wheeling

Kathy Wheeling Nester, 51, of Elliston, passed away Monday, January 1, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Oveda Bryant Wheeling. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 32 years, Roger Nester; her son, Eric Nester; seven sisters and brothers-in-law, Juanita and Everette Dowdy, Margaret Hooker, Loretta Furrow, Levon and Charlie Furrow, Ruby Lutz, Phyllis and Essie Bowles, and Dorothy and Leslie Bowles. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Aker’s Family Cemetery in Fagg with the Rev. Frankie Graham officiating.
