Nester, Elda Sutphin

Elda Sutphin Nester, 99, left to be with her Saviour Jesus Christ, husband, son and family on November 21, 2014. Elda was predeceased by her husband, Marvin Nester, son, Vander Nester, father and mother, and eight brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Wayne and Donna Nester, daughter-in-law, Velma Nester, Allen and Jill Nester, Sonja and Dennis D’Souza, and Tim and Joyce Nester; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Sharleen Woodyard, Cheyerl Carbajal, Dr. Charles Judy and Intrepid Hospice for all their loving care.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please give to the Ronald McDonald House, 2224 23rd St SE, Roanoke, VA 24014 or the charity of your choice.
