Neighbors, Samuel Hope
Samuel Hope Neighbors, age 88, of Blacksburg died, Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at his home. He was born in Salem, VA. on September 7, 1933 to the late William and Mabel Shaffer Neighbors. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Price Neighbors.
He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Karen Worrell, Jeanette and John Wiggert, Sherry Neighbors; son, Mike Neighbors; grandchildren, Traci Worrell, Hope Worrell, David Neighbors, Jessica Wiggert, Jamie Wiggert; six great-grandchildren; sister, Delores Hall.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Kinnan officiating. Interment will be held privately at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm, Sunday afternoon prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive S.W. Blacksburg, VA.
