Neice, Jane Melissa

Jane Melissa Neice, 75, of Newport and formerly of Baltimore, Md. and Goldbond, departed this life Wednesday morning, May 15, 2013, at Heritage Hall Health Care in Blacksburg after a long illness. Born in Giles County on September 17, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Carl Blevins and Hazel Stevers Neice. She had been employed as a CNA and Insurance Agent in Baltimore. She was preceded in death by her husband William Roy Neice and a son Douglas Neice. She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law, Billy Wayne and Diane Neice, of Baltimore, Md.; her daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Kyle Robertson, of Newport, Mellissa and Melvin VanSkiver, of Baltimore, Md., Kathy and Ernest Hill of Baltimore, Md.; her 14 grandchildren; her 35 great-grandchildren, and her one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. In honor of Jane’s request there will be no public visitation.
