Elbert Lee Naff, Sr. passed away on September 3, 2018, he was 85 years of age.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Basham Naff of 64 years of Happy Marriage. He is survived by his son Elbert Lee Naff. Jr. wife (Robin) and his daughter Anita Roberson (Robin), also three grandchildren Tiffany Martin (Scott), Taylor Naff and Blake Roberson, one great grandchild Averie Martin and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by sisters Helen Altizer, Joyce Moore and Lola Clower (Harless) and Brother Arnold Naff (Christine) and sister-in-law Brenda Naff.

He is preceded in death by his parents Archie and Melissa Martin Naff, his brothers Rev. Preston Naff, Rev. J.T. Naff, Paul, Billy, and Harold Naff, sister Ruth Zieglar, Melba Bryant and Dianne Trump.

He has lived in the Basham community of Pilot most of his life, he spent two years in the U.S. Army as a medic with a year in Korea. He worked for Donnkenny Inc. for twenty years as a credit and accounts receivable manager and shipping manager, he also farmed part-time most of his life. He became a Christian in October 1943 in Church of Brethren and entered Christian Ministry in 1971 and was Ordained in the Church of Brethren and served as Pastor of Smith Chapel, West Virginia, Red Oak and Stonewall Church. He served six years on District Board in Ministry and Finance comm., served nine years on Small Membership Cong comm., visited many churches and encouraged them, touched hundreds of lives and he helped lead many to Christ and Baptized them, conducted many funerals, anointing services and weddings, also made thousands of visits in homes, hospitals and nursing homes and conducted many revivals services in three different states.

Funeral Services will be held at Gardner Funeral Home on Saturday September 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Elbert Lee Naff Jr. and Rev. Robin Naff Officiating with entombment in the Mausoleum at Roselawn in Christiansburg. Friends may call after 6 PM Friday September 7, 2018 at Gardner Funeral Home were the family will be from 6 to 8 PM.
