Paul Martin Naff, 76, of Pilot, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Roanoke Carilion Hospital resulting from head injuries sustained by a fall. Born on March 22, 1937, he was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Melissa Naff, four brothers, Preston Naff, James T. (J.T) Naff, William (Bill) Naff, and Harold Naff, and three sisters, Ruth Zeigler, Melba Bryant, and Dianne Trump.

Those left to cherish his memory are two brothers, D. Arnold Naff (Christine), Elbert Naff (Nancy), both of Pilot, VA; three sisters, Helen Altizer of Riner, VA, Joyce Moore of Richmond, VA and Lola Clower (Harless), of Pilot, VA; sister-in-law, Brenda Naff, of Pilot, VA A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive Paul will also be missed by his church family where he was a faithful and dedicated member known for his kind, sweet spirit and greeting card ministry.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren with the Reverend Jimmy Cannaday and the Reverend Hebron Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery , Christiansburg, VA. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

The family expresses their appreciation to Roanoke Carilion Hospital and to the professional staff of physicians and nurses who attended the medical needs of Paul and their consideration to the family in providing them the courtesy for visiting them and keeping them informed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Red Oak building fund at Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, P.O. Box 513, Floyd, VA 24091.
