Myers, Nannie Marie

Nannie Marie Myers, 82, of Willis, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007 at home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Recy and Effie Harris, and husband, Charles E. Myers. Survivors include son, Charles E. Myers, Jr., Willis, Va.; daughters and sons-in-law, Delores and Alfred Hylton, Meadows of Dan, Va., Charlotte and Floyd Meeks, Ridgeway, Va., Amanda and Arthur Clark, Morganton, N.C.; grandsons, Dwayne Howard Alderman, Meadows of Dan, Va., Christopher Marc Boyd, Eden, N.C., James Walter Hicks, Michael Allen Hicks, Paul Lynn Hicks and wife Melanie, all of Morganton, N.C.; granddaughters, Candace Lanette Lee, Eden, N.C., Teri Joette Lewis and husband John, Jr., Meadows of Dan, N.C., Pamela Marie Wright and husband David Charles (Bill), Morganton, N.C.; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene Marshall, Geneva Maxwell, both of Willis, Va.; brother, Leonard Harris, Salem, Va.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Mike Varner and the Rev. Richard Telling officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Maberry Funeral Home.
