James (“Tiny”) Wallace Mustard, 75, of the Bearspring Community of Pearisburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, surrounded by his family. He was born June 27, 1948, at home, the son of William Woodrow & Mary Hamblin Mustard.

Jimmy Wallace was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and living a life of service to Him. He attended Riverview Baptist Church and enjoyed attending the Men’s Prayer Breakfasts and providing the cooked apples.

He worked in the mines and at the Lynchburg Foundry. He retired as a Corrections Officer at the Bland Correctional Center after many years service.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved his farm and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed working on engines and attending tractor pulls. Jimmy loved his family and would do anything to help each and everyone of his family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Jimmy Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, William Woodrow & Mary Hamblin Mustard, his loving wife of 42 years, Susan Carol Ferrell Mustard, and his brothers & sister-in-law, Basil & Hazel Mustard and Bobby Mustard.

Jimmy Wallace is survived by many special nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors, and a sister-in-law, whom he loved very much.

Per his wishes, Jimmy Wallace has been cremated. His family is planning a memorial service to celebrate his life on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Riverview Baptist Church with Pastor Shahn Wilburn and Charles Henderson officiating.
