Musselman, Jessie Jackson

Jessie Jackson Musselman, 95, of Ferrum, Va., went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Preceding him in death were his mother, Maudie Musselman; father, Kyle Musselman; wife, Mary Musselman; son, Walter Musselman; one brother; and two sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Willie Musselman and wife, Betty; daughter, Edna (Edie) Robertson and husband, Wesley; daughter-in-law, Thelma Musselman; three grandchildren; three step- grandchildren; two special great-grandchildren, Jordan and Lexie Musselman; four total great-grandchildren; four great- great- grandchildren; sisters, Doris Gills, Mildred Barnett, Thelma Gilmore, and Myrtle Linkous and husband, Earl; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Biddie Wheeling; and special extended family, Deb, Larry, Carolyn, Virginia, Buddy, Pam, Larry, and Angela. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Dr. Robert Strong, and caregiver, Mildred Dalton. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Watkins officiating.
