Musick, Elizabeth Geraldine Wirt

Elizabeth Geraldine Wirt Musick, 84, of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 in the Pulaski Community Hospital. Born April 9, 1925 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late James Henry Wirt, Jr. and Minnie King Wirt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell William Musick, one sister, Georgie Yager and three brothers, Douglas Wirt, William C. Wirt, and Foye Elton Wirt. Mrs. Musick was a charter member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Pulaski. She was retired from Pulaski Community Hospital in the dietary department with over 30 years of service. She will not only be missed by her family, but by all her wonderful friends. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Musick Brammer and Sam Brammer, Roanoke, Becky Musick Williams and Alvin Williams, Pulaski; four special grandchildren, Kristi B. Hamilton, Randall S. Brammer, James R. “Rusty” Brammer, and Matthew R. Williams; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m., in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor John Grimm officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory be sent to the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1946 Medallion Dr., Pulaski, Va. 24301.
