Murray, Karl “Furry”

A very sad farewell to one of the best men that we have had the honor of knowing. When Karl Gray Murray, “Furry” was born, this world became a better place. He loved and lived life to the fullest and shared his love with everyone he knew and met.

When you saw the smile on his face and the twinkle of his beautiful blue eyes you knew you were loved. He was the best friend that anyone could wish to have. Thank you Furry for taking us along on your journey. Memories will help to heal the pain, but the pain will never go away.

Fishing and golf were his passions, surpassed only by his love for family and friends.

Furry was the son of Dewey and Lottie Murray of Chesapeake, VA. He was preceded in death by his father, survived by his mother Lottie, Sister Carol, nephew Matt, niece Melissa and the love of his life, Peggy Bernard.

Please join in a celebration of Furry’s life at McCoy’s Funeral Home in Blacksburg, VA on Saturday, November 14, 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers and in remembrance of Furry those who wish may contribute to the charity of your choice.
