Murray, Eloise Stanley

Eloise Stanley Murray, 75, of 1103 Dillon Street, Pulaski, died on Friday July 20, 2007 at her home. She was born in Fries, Va. on May 28, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Hix Stanley and Esther Snow Stanley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Foster Murray; and two brothers, Darrell Stanley and Ernest Stanley.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pulaski and was a retired nurse.

Surviving are two daughters and sons in-law, Juanita and Larry Wright of Dugspur and Debbie and Russell Williams of Christiansburg; one son and fiancee, Jimmy Murray and Lynn Walbert of King, N.C.; grandchildren and spouses, Logan and Phillip Kessinger of Barren Springs, Stephen and Heather Brubaker of Barren Springs, Dylan Bretton of Pulaski, and George Foster Williams of Christiansburg; sisters and spouses, Louise Hayes of Fries, Patricia and Marshall Shupe of Fries, Joyce and Wimpy King of Fries, Patsy and Don Cornett of N. Wilkesboro, N.C., and Christine and Freddie Delp of Woodlawn; brothers and spouses, Doug and Donna Stanley of Fries, Larry and Brenda Stanley of Fries, Allen Stanley of Fries, Billy and Jan Stanley of Fries, Pete and Jackie Stanley of Fries, and Eddie and Robin Stanley of Fries; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Brandon Kessinger of Barren Springs, Trey and Drew Brubaker of Barren Springs, and Alana and Bryson Bretton of Pulaski.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday July 22, 2007 at 3 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church (Family Life Chapel) with the Rev. Hugh Kilgore officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday at the Family Life Chapel from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
