Murphy, Sandra Kaye Rowe

Sandra Kaye Rowe Murphy, 61, of Dublin VA, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012 following a long illness. She was born on October 10, 1950 in Minden, WV, and she was the daughter of the late Edward and Alice Rowe. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, nanny and great nanny. Affectionately known as “Sissy”, she was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, a brother Tom Rowe also preceded her in death. Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 44 years, Virgil Roy Murphy; two devoted daughters Terri Lynn Murphy Carter; Tammy K. Murphy; three grandsons Matthew Thomas Murphy, Justin Scott Murphy, Scott Fitzgerald Carter; three granddaughters Cassandra Lynn Banks, Allison Lorrine Banks, Chyanne Renee Banks; three great grandchildren Ava Ireland Murphy, Jariah Bree Banks, Jordan Scott Murphy; two brothers Edward Mitchell (Lana) Rowe of Muncie, IN, Vernon (Michelle) Crouch of Christiansburg, and a host of loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday June 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. J.T. Horton officiating. Interment will be private.
