Munsey, Robert Montgomery

Robert Montgomery Munsey, 54, of Roanoke, VA departed this life suddenly Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the side of his wife, Mary Munsey. Born April 14, 1965, he was the son of Robert Munsey and the late Sandra Williams Munsey.

He was an original member of the 1980 Giles Bandana Gang serving as the kicker, a member of the Giles High School Class of 1983, and had enjoyed a life in construction. Another of his proudest achievements was the honor of serving as a United States Marine.

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mary Munsey; his father, Robert Munsey; a brother, Brian Scott Munsey and wife Lisa of Roanoke, Virginia; a sister Danielle Munsey; a niece Cassie Munsey; very special friends, Chris and Paige Barham of Roanoke, VA, and Wayne Frank of Newport, VA; and a host of other friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel 605 Snidow Street Pembroke, Virginia with Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
