Mowrey, Daniel

Daniel Mowrey, formerly of Blacksburg, Va., departed this world January 14, 2008. He was 54.

Dan served in the United States Army for four years, and after, was a proud graduate of DePaul University. He is survived by his son, Ryan Mowrey; his mother, Elizabeth Thacker; two sisters, Barbara Davis and Janice Mowrey; one brother, Michael Mowrey; and two nephews, Rick Davis and Brian Mowrey.

He was a dedicated Controller for Ferguson Enterprises. Daniel was a loving father and loyal friend. His enthusiasm for life was admired by those around him and he is deeply missed.

Burial services will be held February 9, 2008, at noon in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg, Va. Arrangements are being handled by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
