Moses, John William

John William Moses, 89, of Christiansburg, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. He was born on September 7, 1925, to the late Frank and Mary Echols Moses. He attended Unity Christian Church in Radford. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Lambert; brother, Charles Moses; and sister, Ileta Proco.

He is survived by his son, Frank Moses and wife, Connie, of Christiansburg; daughter, Karen Dove and husband, William, of Christiansburg; sister, Juanita Thurman, of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a niece; several nephews; a host of other relatives; and special friend, Ruth Cragett.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2015, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Wendy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
