Morris, Rita Cole

Rita Cole Morris, age 74, of Christiansburg died Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She was born in Montgomery Co., Va. on July 8, 1948, to the late Daily and Lucy Austin Vaught Cole. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Morris; and two brothers, Roger Cole, and Gene Cole.

She is survived by her son, Denny Ray Scott, Jr.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Haven and Suzie Cole, Marshall and Darlene Cole, Doyle and Linda Vaught, Martin; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5- 6:00 P.M., Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W., Blacksburg Va. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 P.M. with the Pastor Greg Irby officiating in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel.
