Morris, Pansy Burnette

Pansy Marie Burnette Morris, age 82 of Pulaski and formerly Dublin passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 in the Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born October 16, 1928 in Fieldale, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ophus Jackson Burnette and Olivia Virginia Slaughter Burnette.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Frances Burnette. She attended the Heritage Church for many years. She was retired from Inland Motors with over 25 years of service.

She is survived by Her children- Jo Ann Hypes – Dublin, Danny Ray Morris – Pulaski, Dana Morris Bishop & husband, Terry Wayne Bishop – Draper, Robbie Morris & wife, Cindy Morris – Dublin, Three Grandchildren- Missy Hylton, Stephanie Bishop, Kaitlyn Morris. 5 Great Grandchildren- Brother- Thomas James Burnette – Pulaski.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Bower Funeral Home – Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Mike Sweeney officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the Funeral Home, Pulaski. The family will be meeting at the home of her brother-Thomas Burnette, 612 Greenview Court-Pulaski.

The family wishes to thank her “special 2nd family” at Pulaski Health & Rehabilitation Center for their loving care through the years.
