Morris, Lois Virginia
Lois (“Teenie”) Virginia Morris, 74, of the Little Creek Community of Dublin, VA, went to be with the Lord she served on Thursday, August 11, 2022. She was born in Giles County on April 13, 1948, the daughter of the late Lewis & Hattie Riddle.
“Teenie” was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and studying His word. She read her bible daily. She attended the Old Landmark Church. She loved children and enjoyed caring for them. She was a sweet and innocent soul and she will be missed by those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Franklin Riddle & Hattie Elizabeth Stephens Riddle, her husband, Ernest Aaron Morris, Sr., her brother, Ernest C. (“Punch”) Riddle, two sisters & brothers-in-law, Mary & Carl Woodyard and Shelby (“Peg”) & Vance Goble, her sister-in-law, Clesta Riddle, a nephew, Jeff Riddle and a nice, Norma Gravely.
Left to cherish her memory are her step-son, Ernest Aaron Morris, Jr.; her grandson, Dylan Jacob Morris; her siblings, Lewis & Sallie Riddle, James Riddle, Arnold Riddle, Eva & Albert Woodyard, Brenda & Larry Woodyard and Ronnie & Faye Riddle; and several nieces, nephews and friends, too many to list.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Bro. Larry Woodyard and Bro. John Thornsberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Newbern Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until service time, 2:00 P.M.

I am so very sad to hear of her passing. I worked with Lois at RCCC and she was a delight to work with. My boys absolutely loved her! She was kind to everyone and loved all the children. No doubt this faithful lady is rejoicing with Jesus! You will be missed by so many!
