Morris, Geneva Graves

Mrs. Geneva Graves Morris, 91, of Roanoke, Va., passed away Thursday, November 22, 2007. A native of Christiansburg, Va., Mrs. Morris was the daughter of the late James and Mary Graves and the wife of the late Jeb Morris. She was predeceased by her sisters, Louise Watson and Willie Mae Clemons; and brothers, Claude and James Graves.

She is survived by her brothers, William (Amy) Graves, Sr. of Salem; Garnett (Helen) Graves and George (Lucille) Graves of Roanoke, Va. and Bernard Graves of New York City, N.Y.; sisters, Margaret (Claude) Rainey of Roanoke, Va.; and Katie Saunders of Salem, Va. and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Cedric Malone, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Williams Memorial Park.

The family will receive their friends at the church thirty minutes prior to the service. Friends may call at Serenity Funeral Home for viewing on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
