Morris, Barbara Grantham Quesenberry
Barbara Ellen Grantham Quesenberry Morris, “Bobbie”, as she was known in her younger days, was born in Pulaski, on July 26, 1933, the only child of Arthur Cleveland Grantham and Ione Lawrence Altizer Grantham. After an illness of several months, she passed away at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the age of 89.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husbands, Otis Olen Quesenberry, the father of her six children, in 1974, and Mack Elden Morris, in 1994; and two children Loretta Sue Quesenberry Eads, and Tommy Lee Quesenberry, who both passed away in December of 2021.
Surviving are her children, Cynthia Dianne “Cindy” (Don) of Christiansburg, Otis Michael “Mike/Link” Quesenberry, Deborah Jane “Debbie” Quesenberry Linkous, and Steven “Steve” Quesenberry, all of Pulaski: 8 grandchildren, Chris Arnold, Beth Garland, Lynn Jones, Sara Thompson, Danny Eads, Jr., Lori Eads, Jason Linkous, and Nikki Linkous; 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 8 step-children and their families; and several cousins.
There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at Thornspring Cemetery on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Morris officiating, and where she will be laid to rest with her parents.
The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the staff of Lewis Gale Hospital – Pulaski, and especially to those at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center for their kind assistance in the care of our mother in her final days. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to First United Methodist Church in Pulaski, or to any charity of choice.
