Morrell, Greta Brillheart

Greta Fern Brillheart Morrell, 93, of Dublin, VA died on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Commonwealth Senior Living in Fairlawn. She was the youngest of 11 children born to James Walter and Gillie Smith Brillheart in Dublin, VA. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Harry F. Morrell, a daughter, Barbara Anne, and all of her siblings.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline (Jackie) and John Mason; 3 grandsons, Michael Mason (Karen), Matthew Mason, Andrew Mason (Tammy); and 3 great-grandchildren, Caroline, Thomas, and Rhys.

Visitation of friends will take place at the Dublin United Methodist Church from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27. The memorial service will follow officiated by the Rev. Don Hanshew. Graveside services will take place at the Dublin Cemetery immediately after the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the DES Backpack Program (c/o Dublin United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 577, Dublin, VA 24084), the Dublin United Methodist Women, or the Dublin United Methodist Chancel Choir.
