Morehead, Lois Johnston

Lois Johnston Morehead, 87, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, March, 10, 2013, at Heritage Hall Health Care. She was born in Pearisburg, on May 24, 1925 to the late Leroy Webb and Irma Morris Johnston.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Junior O. Morehead, two sons, Philip and Perry Morehead, one daughter, Pamela Eavey, one granddaughter, Anita Nester Giles, four brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Morehead Nester and husband, William L. Nester of Parrott; daughter-in-law, Judy Flinchum Morehead of Blacksburg; four sisters-in-law; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; many nieces; nephews and friends.

Graveside Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg with Dr. Don McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the services at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
