Moran, Flossie C.

Flossie C. Moran, 91, of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family.

Her husband, George R. Moran, preceded her in death in 2009 after 61 years of marriage.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jimmy Moran; daughter, Connie M. Congleton; son, Robert Moran and wife, Jackie; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Sean, and Ryan; and two great-grandchildren, Roan and Quinn.

Although she lived in Norfolk, Va., for 65 years she never forgot she was a country girl from Copper Hill, Va. She will be taken back to Floyd County for services and burial.

The Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Restvale Cemetery in Floyd County, Va., with Pastor Greg Fleshman officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Oakey’s South Chapel.
